Ornua is actively seeking a People Services Advisor (Payroll and Benefits), North America that will be a key player on the North American people services team as we continue our growth trajectory.
In this role, you will be responsible for payroll processing, benefit administration, internal and external audits, onboarding, and offboarding - amongst other standard Shared Service functions.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The People Services Advisor performs the daily, administrative coordination of general shared service tasks which ensure the payroll accuracy for our employees, maintain the compliance for employee benefits and federal reporting, as well as serves as a subject-matter expert for all payroll processes.
Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Timely and accurate preparation and processing multi-state and multi-location payroll to include employe changes such as wage increases, bonuses, stipends, etc.
for all companies.
Serves as subject-matter expert for all payroll processes including timekeeping, imports, and exports to and from approved HRIS to vendors such as 401K and other benefits.
Responsible for pre-check audits for payroll accuracy prior to payroll approvals; ensures approved payroll processes are adhered to and conducts post-payroll audits.
Reviews requests or need for new earnings and deduction codes, wage assignments, levies, and other garnishment; responsible for setup, testing, and processing of all other ancillary payroll and benefit codes in the approved HRIS.
Manages incoming People Service tickets to be addressed timely and accurately which requires multi-system processes and communications.
Responsible for ensuring data accuracy in all systems to pull and manage standard reports on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for legal compliance in various functions such as 401K, benefits, state reporting, federal reporting, etc.
What You Bring To The Role:
Foundational knowledge of HR compliance and risk assessments with knowledge of internal and external processes.
Minimum of (2) years of experience in payroll administration, benefits administration, general HR functions or related experience; combination of education and related experience considered.
Minimum of (2) years of experience using HR technology platforms and services such as ADP, Paylocity, Workday, etc.
